Learning Objectives
Description
When interacting with students one-on-one, you have the power to impact their success in the classroom and in in life. In this program, you will learn how to better engage with students in a one-on-one setting so that you can lead a student towards achieving independence.
Guiding students to be motivated, successful learners requires building healthy teacher-student relationships. This program addresses how to build strong connections by relating to your students on a personal level; showing sincerity through engaging in casual conversation with your students; communicating verbally and nonverbally; using the Keys 4 Conversation to promote positive behavior; encouraging analytical thinking to instill confidence and curiosity in the student; sharing your experience; and practicing transparency in the process.
